Recruitment

- Competent and attractive target group for recruitment – both sworn and civilian members
- Young and highly educated immigrant population
- Create a greater sense of community and reduce isolation among LAH members via peer and mental health support groups
- This creates more engaged members with diverse skill sets, thereby strengthening the Service
Language

- Enable ethnic and linguistic representation and diversity in the justice system, including TPS
- Enhancing linguistic diversity – excellent for engagement, crime prevention and education
- Assists in demolishing one of the greatest obstacles for success for an immigrant population – LANGUAGE BARRIER
Education

- Opportunity to deliver crime prevention programs in Spanish across a myriad of platforms and to various segments of the population (i.e. youths, men, women, seniors)
- Service to educate and prevent:
- Intimate partner violence
- Impaired driving
- Human/Labour trafficking
- Gang violence
We impact the community
- Building trust with communities who historically distrust government and law enforcement
- Reduce crime and foster communication, education, transparency
- Reduce isolation – collaborative relationship for safer more engaged communities
- Break down language barrier to create trust and security with TPS
